The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is actively investigating a bias incident that occurred on University Place between Ernie Davis and Dellplain Halls at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8. Two students reported being called a racial slur by a driver yelling out the window of their vehicle. There was no physical altercation. DPS officers met with the two impacted individuals to offer resources and support. There are no suspects at this time.
