Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:
As we return to campus from the fall break, I want to remind you of how the Department of Public Safety (DPS) provides emergency notification and public safety messages about incidents affecting the Syracuse University community.
But first, I also want to be clear about when we communicate broadly and when we will not, as this has created frustration among members of our community in recent weeks.
