Syracuse Police Department Currently Investigating Dec. 14 Incident

The Syracuse Police Department (SPD) is investigating an incident that was reported to the Department of Public Safety (DPS) on Saturday, Dec. 14. The complainant, a Syracuse University student, says he was outside a local bar when he was harassed and assaulted by an individual who reportedly called him a homophobic slur. The student sustained an injury to his nose.

The suspect was described as a 6’2’ male, thin build with blond hair wearing a peacoat. It is unknown if this individual is affiliated with Syracuse University.
