Department of Public Safety Identifies Individual Responsible for January 21 Bias Incident 

The individual responsible for the anti-Semitic graffiti in the lower level of Bird Library has been identified and referred to the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, the Department of Public Safety announced today.

In accordance with federal privacy laws, we will not be sharing the identity of the individual. However, this development should serve as a reminder that these incidents will be investigated vigorously and individuals will be held responsible in accordance with the Code of Student Conduct, as well as pertinent laws.

The Department of Public Safety continues to actively investigate the series of bias incidents that occurred on campus in the fall semester. And, thanks to the generosity of a concerned donor, a reward is available for those who provide information that leads to the identification of a responsible individual.
