The Department of Public Safety is committed to providing high-quality campus law enforcement services to the Syracuse University community. Your feedback helps us recognize DPS members for their performance and assists us in improving delivery of service and achievement of goals.
A compliment or complaint can be made at any time by letter, telephone, the online citizen complaint form, or in person at our Communications Center at 005 Sims Hall. Any on-duty Public Safety supervisor can accept your comments.
All comments are forwarded to the Chief of Public Safety for review, and in the case of formal complaints, assignment for investigation. With regards to complaints, the complainant will be contacted by a supervisor as soon as possible to discuss the complaint and receive additional information on the investigative process.
