For the 2019 calendar year, the Department of Public Safety conducted a total of ten (10) internal investigations.
Nine (9) involved sworn personnel
One (1) involved non-sworn personnel
Of the ten (10) complaints investigated, six (6) were sustained, three (3) were unfounded and one (1) was inconclusive.
As a result of these complaints, four (4) sworn employees were disciplined;
- Two (2) received a letter of reprimand.
- One (1) received a suspension.
- One (1) was terminated.
- One (1) non-sworn IA investigation resulted in a referral CSES Administration and received appropriate coaching.
